BEFORE THE HVAC REPLACEMENT OR INSTALLATION
Of course before the initial replacement and installation, we conduct a few procedures beforehand. One of our licensed technicians will come to inspect your current HVAC system, performing a thorough evaluation to collect information to include in the job details. They also take account of the tools needed to complete the job, if there are any obstructions or issues they will come across during the removal of the old unit, and any other materials needed. THE DAY OF HVAC INSTALLATION
During the day of service and installation, our technicians will of course introduce themselves to you and communicate any needed information to you. They will make sure to cover floors or other valuables with cloth for protection in addition to collecting needed materials and tools before the installation. One of the technicians will proceed with going over safety procedures such as turning off the electricity and any service valves to the old HVAC system. They also examine the ductwork to see if there is any damage that needs to be repaired or blockages to be cleared. Checking refrigerant lines is also important to check if they are in poor condition and if they are, our technician will also recommend installing new lines.
Our technicians will then begin the process of removing the old existing unit then start the installation of a new unit. They take caution in fitting the piping correctly, perform refrigerant leak tests, and other brief precautions during the installation process. Once the new unit is in place and properly connected, the technicians will also run some final diagnostics to ensure it is performing perfectly and there were no errors during installation. They will listen for any unusual noises, make sure the thermostat is working properly, check airflow and temperature consistency and run our basic PM service tasks. We advise that after an installation of a new unit, that you contact the manufacturer to register your new unit’s warranty as soon as possible. Our technician can supply you with the needed information on the unit such as the serial number, model number, etc. The manufacturer may also ask for your address, date of purchase and date of installation. It is important to do as quickly as possible to catch any recalls on your unit and its parts. Within the next few days after installation, our office will reach out to check up on you and ensure the unit is still running smoothly as it did the day of installation.
